Course Length

To satisfy all possible interest areas, the school recognizes that some applicants are interested in hypnosis in terms of personal improvement and dynamics.  Others, only to the extent of being able to help, or be of service to those around them, as in the family, or using hypnotic skills as a part of their present profession.  Others, of course,  intend to develop a career in helping people.

For this reason, we offer the course in three parts.  Each of the respective three parts is taught in two weekends.  This schedule allows a student to obtain classroom instruction and complete Directed Independent Study within a period of two weekends. The total training is 140 hours and will cover a time of three calendar months.

Graduation and Certification

After the successful completion of all four segments, each graduate is issued a Certificate of Completion and can use the professional designation Ht (Hypnotherapist) .

You are then eligible for certification through IMDHA (International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association) and IACT (International Association of Counselors and Therapists).  The IMDHA certification examination is proctored on your last day of class at no additional fee. After successfully passing the certification examination you will be entitled to use the professional designation
C. Ht (Certified Hypnotherapist).

Tuition:

In an effort to make the program more affordable, students are allowed

12-moinths to complete the program without incurring additional charges or additional time requirements,

due to the increase in hours required by IMDHA.

The student may study a Module at a time, with each being made up of 40 to 20 hours of study.  Module 1 is the Basic Hypnosis;  Module 2 is the Advanced Hypnosis, and Module 4 Is the Rapid Change Techniques (40 hours each).  Module 3 is Advanced Therapies at 20 hours.  The student must successfully complete each Module before moving on to the next level Module.

Modules 1, 2 and 4 cost $655 per module.   Module 3 costs $300.

The total tuition for the 140 hour Hypnosis Proficiency Program course is $2265.

Beginning January 2011.  the required hours for IMDHA certification increases to 160 hours. Those students enrolling in 2010 and completing requirements for graduation within 12 months, will require only 140 hours of study to receive their IMDHA certification.

The book fee for Modules 1, 2, and 4 is $150  and is required to be paid, in full, at the start of Module 1.  The Book fee for Module 3 is $40 and is required before the start of Module 3. Module 3 is also a Continuing Educational Unit class and may be taken by previously certified hypnotists/hypnotherapists including previous graduates of this school. No application fee is required for CEU only students.

Please note: IMDHA has raised the hours for February 2010. The new requirement is 140 hours, instead of the 120 hours of class time. This will require the school to add two more days and raise the tuition appropriately. IMDHA will continue to raise the minimum hours, 20 more hours each year for 5 years, by 2015 the minimum class time will be 220 class hours. We have much material to present for the additional hours each year. For February 2010 we will add two days of Pain Management. This class will be available to previous students to attend for CEU credits.
